This was an older deck that was in severe need of repairs and a fresh coat of stain. It took me 3 days to complete. The washing process took a full day. There were many areas where mildew had attached itself to the surface. Once this was done, the following day I replaced a total of 5 damaged rotted boards. Finally I applied a heavy double coating of Sherwin Williams deck stain over the entire deck surface and railings.
